Animomo is developed by JaWa Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.
Information We Collect
Account details such as your name, email address, and authentication identifiers from our sign-in provider.
Child profile information that you choose to add, including a nickname, age range, and avatar selections.
Uploads and animations, including the drawings, photos, videos, captions, and prompts you provide when using Animomo.
Usage and device data generated when you navigate the app, interact with features, or experience errors. This can include timestamps, device model, operating system, and app version.
Purchase information related to credit packs processed through Apple, Google, or other payment platforms. Animomo does not sell auto-renewing subscriptions.
How We Use Information
Operate, maintain, and improve Animomo, including generating animations and recommending features that match your family's activity.
Send transactional communications such as receipts, render completion alerts, or critical service updates.
Protect the service, enforce our Terms of Service, and detect, prevent, or investigate fraud and abuse.
Understand aggregate usage trends so we can create new story formats and improve overall performance.
Sharing and Disclosure
Service providers that help with infrastructure, analytics, storage, customer support, or payment processing receive only the information necessary to perform their tasks. These providers are contractually bound to protect your information.
If required by law, court order, or government regulation, JaWa Studio may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests.
We may share de-identified or aggregated insights that do not identify you or your family for research or to highlight Animomo's impact.
JaWa Studio will never sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Storage and Security
JaWa Studio encrypts data in transit and at rest. We use secure cloud infrastructure and restrict access to authorized personnel only.
No security practice is perfect. If we discover a data incident, we will notify affected users and regulators as required by law.
Retention
We retain account information while your Animomo account is active. We may keep limited records after you close your account when necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
You may contact us to request deletion of your data. Some information may remain in backup archives until those backups are cycled.
Your Choices and Rights
You can update account details, manage child profiles, or remove uploads directly in the app.
You may opt out of non-essential emails and push notifications via in-app settings or the unsubscribe instructions in communications.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact us to exercise these rights, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children and Families
Animomo is designed for families and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Only parents or legal guardians who are 13 years of age or older may create accounts.
Before using Animomo, we require all users to verify they are at least 13 years old and provide explicit consent to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and the collection of information related to child profiles they create.
Parents must provide verifiable parental consent before creating child profiles. By accepting our consent terms, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose profile you create, and you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their drawings and videos as described in this Privacy Policy.
Parents have the right to review, modify, or delete their child's information at any time through the app. You may also contact us to request access to or deletion of your child's data.
If we learn that a child has provided personal information without proper parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.
International Data Transfers
Animomo operates globally and may store or process information in the United States or other countries. We rely on approved transfer mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, when moving data across borders.
By using Animomo, you understand that your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
Changes to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Animomo or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy in the app and revise the Last Updated date.
If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice or seek consent when required.
