About This Privacy Policy
Animomo is developed by JaWa Studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to the parent or legal guardian who manages an Animomo account.
Information We Collect
Account details you provide or authorize through sign-in providers, such as your name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
Child profile information you choose to add, such as a nickname, age range, avatar selections, and similar profile settings.
Content you upload or create in Animomo, including drawings, photos, videos, captions, prompts, and generated animations.
Usage, diagnostics, and device information generated when you use the service, such as timestamps, app version, device model, operating system, crash data, and feature interactions.
Purchase and entitlement information related to credit packs or promotions processed by Apple, Google, or another platform. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
How We Use Information
Provide, maintain, and improve Animomo, including generating animations, storing your projects, and supporting product functionality.
Send service-related communications such as receipts, important account notices, security alerts, and render completion updates.
Protect users, enforce our Terms of Service, detect abuse, investigate misuse, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.
Understand aggregate product usage so we can improve features, performance, and family safety controls.
Sharing and Disclosure
We share information with service providers that support hosting, storage, analytics, customer support, moderation, authentication, and payment or platform operations, but only as needed for those services.
We may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid request from public authorities.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you or your child.
JaWa Studio does not sell personal information for third-party marketing purposes.
Storage and Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and limit access to authorized personnel and providers.
No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a data incident affecting personal information, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
Retention
We retain account information and content while your account is active and as needed to provide the service.
When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify most account, profile, and content data from our active systems. We may retain limited records for a period of time where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or routine backup rotation.
Your Choices and Rights
You can update account details, manage child profiles, remove content, and request account deletion through the app or by contacting support.
You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. Service and legal notices may still be sent when necessary.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export certain personal information. We will review and respond to requests as required by applicable law.
Children and Families
Animomo is intended for family use. An account may be created only by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 13 years old, or older where local law requires a higher minimum age.
Child profiles may be created and managed only by the parent or legal guardian who controls the account.
When we rely on parental consent for the collection or use of a child's information, we request that consent from the parent or legal guardian creating the child profile.
Parents and legal guardians may review, update, or delete their child's information through the app or by contacting support.
If we learn that we collected a child's personal information without the required parent or guardian authorization, we will take steps to delete it as required by law.
International Data Transfers
Animomo may store or process information in countries other than the one where you live. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
By using Animomo, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions with data protection rules that differ from those in your home country.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational updates. When we do, we will update the Last updated date on this page.
If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
