Your Right to Delete Your Data
At Animomo (developed by JaWa Studio), we respect your right to control your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly from within the app.
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have saved any animations or content you wish to keep before proceeding.
How to Delete Your Account
Open Settings
Launch the Animomo app and tap the Settings icon in the bottom navigation bar.
Scroll to Account Section
Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" option at the bottom of the settings screen.
Confirm Deletion
Tap "Delete Account" and confirm your choice in two separate confirmation dialogs to prevent accidental deletion.
Automatic Sign-Out
Once confirmed, all your data is permanently deleted and you'll be signed out automatically.
Data That Gets Permanently Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is immediately and permanently removed from our systems:
Account Information
Your name, email address, and authentication details
Child Profiles
All child nicknames, ages, and avatar selections
Drawings & Animations
All uploaded drawings, photos, and generated animation videos
Credit History
Credit balance, purchase records, and transaction history
Notification Settings
Push notification tokens and preferences
Usage Data
App activity, moderation flags, and render job history
Limited Data Retention (Anti-Abuse Protection)
90-Day Retention Period
To prevent abuse of promotional offers, we retain a minimal record of deleted accounts for 90 days. This record includes:
- Your email address (hashed)
- Whether you used a first-time credit offer
- Deletion timestamp
After 90 days, this record is automatically anonymized — your email is permanently removed, leaving only a boolean flag that cannot be traced back to you.
Children's Data (COPPA)
When you delete your account, all child profile data is permanently deleted, including:
- Child nicknames, ages, and avatar selections
- All drawings and photos associated with children
- All animation videos created for children
- No trace of children's data remains after deletion
Can't Access the App?
If you're unable to delete your account through the app (for example, if you've lost access to your device), you can request account deletion by emailing our support team. Please include the email address associated with your Animomo account.
