What account deletion means

You can request deletion of your Animomo account at any time through the app. Deleting the account removes or de-identifies most account, child profile, and content data from our active systems.

Deletion is permanent for the active account experience. Some limited records may be retained for a short period for abuse prevention, legal compliance, security, dispute handling, or routine backup rotation, as described below.

How to delete your account

1

Open Settings

Open the Animomo app and go to the Settings area for your account.

2

Choose Delete Account

Select "Delete Account" and review the information shown before you continue.

3

Confirm the Request

Confirm the deletion prompts shown in the app so the request is not submitted by accident.

4

Sign-out and Processing

You will be signed out after confirmation. Deletion of active account data begins promptly, subject to the limited retention described below.

What changes in active systems

Once deletion is confirmed, the following account data is no longer available through the active account:

Account profile data

Your account profile and sign-in relationship are removed from the active account experience.

Child profiles

Child profile settings and associated profile information are deleted from active systems.

Uploads and generated content

Uploaded drawings, photos, prompts, and generated animations tied to the account are removed from active access.

Notification settings

Push token associations and account-level notification preferences are removed.

In-app access

The deleted account can no longer be used to sign in and continue using the service.

Limited retention after deletion

To prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and maintain service security, JaWa Studio may retain a limited record of the deleted account for up to 90 days. That limited record may include:

  • A hashed form of the account email address
  • Whether a first-time offer or similar anti-abuse promotion was used
  • Deletion timing and limited audit information needed for security and support

Backup copies may also persist until they are overwritten or rotated in the normal course of operations. Those copies are not kept in active use for the account experience.

Child profile data

  • Child nicknames, age ranges, and avatar selections are deleted from active systems.
  • Projects and media associated with child profiles are removed from active access with the rest of the account content.
  • Parents or legal guardians can request help from support if they cannot access the app to submit deletion directly.
  • Limited retention and backup handling described on this page and in the Privacy Policy may still apply.
